People want to view your website using their Smart Phones

Over the last few years the way people access the web has changed.  A potential client may access the web on any number of devices throughout even a single day.  So your website needs to be viewable on any screen size to give visitors to your website an optimal viewing experience.

During the latter part of 2013, Drive By Websites was working on an affordable website solution to satisfy the requirements of all these devices without the need for multiple websites.

The solution is commonly known as a "Responsive Website" i.e. it resizes and re-proportions itself according to the device browsing it. It makes your site fully readable and images and menus resize themselves in a familiar way so that people navigating via keyboard, mouse, finger-swipe etc on various devices do not strain their eyes in trying to read tiny text.

Here's another responsive e-commerce website, Drive By Websites has recently designed and created on behalf of our client, Robin Hoile.

Robin previously was the proud owner of a Drive By brochure style website but has now upgraded to a responsive e-commerce website - http://lincsgaragedoorservices.co.uk

Is Your Online Shop Smartphone friendly?

Much of Drive By Websites' work now includes designing and developing affordable "responsive" websites

on behalf of our clients.  A responsive website will give visitors to your site a high quality viewing experience when being viewed on Smartphones.  Drive By Websites' responsive sites are not designed just for Smartphones.  They will also auto-resize perfectly when viewed on a laptop, tablet and even a mammoth-sized monitor and, of course, we shouldn't also forget traditional PCs.

Drive By Websites has recently designed and built a responsive e-commerce website for Gedney based  - M.J.P Supplies - www.mjpsupplies.co.uk   M.J.P. Supplies is a company set up in 2005 mainly for the purpose of importing and selling Algifol™ products to farmers and growers of specialist crops including potatoes, vegetables, fruit, flowers and nursery stock.

According to Neil Baker, Marketing Manager, AddPeople "Google has already stated that a mobile friendly website will rank higher in a mobile search, and fully endorses responsive web design as a best practice solution."

Regardless of your industry, mobile and tablet use will most certainly be accounting for a growing share of your website visits.
