Bargain Basement or Quality Store

Drive By Websites this week has been focusing our marketing messages on high quality and excellent service. We want our clients to think "I buy from Drive By Websites because I want the best, I'll go to the bargain basement when I'm strapped for cash.".

As Martyn from Alchemy Business Growth says: "If you focus your marketing messages on quality, prestige and good services, you simply don't have to play the discount game."

The one thing we have learnt over the years is to never discount because we want to strive to be a quality website developer, not a discount store.

Website development is a service not an actual product so we can't offer a money back guarantee. How we get over the "money-back guarantee" issue and guarantee satisfaction is to only request payment when the website is complete. There has never been an issue in respect of non-payment because our clients have had imput into its design  and control over its creation which makes for happy clients.

It's up to you to mould customer perception about what kind of business you are.  Strive to be a quality dealer, not a discount store.  Guarantee satisfaction.  To get higher prices, you have to convince that you can deliver the best, or their money back. Or, in our case, no money at all!!
